Quantum physics and games in the classroom

Visiting Skåde School

We have had the pleasure of visiting the science class at Skåde skole. We went there to tell the students about quantum physics, about the ScienceAtHome project, and to present them with our newest game Quantum Minds.

We started the visit with a talk by Jacob Sherson, who told them about what quantum physics is and how a game about a quantum computer can give insights into how humans learn.

After the talk by Jacob, we had a small competition among the students. The goal was to be the first to complete Quantum Minds. Most of the students got to the third level quite fast before they faced their first challenge. However, they soon learned how to beat the level and within 20 minutes we had the first two students, who beat the final level.
